Consciousness Quantum

For anyone remotely interested in the subject of consciousness, the dictionary's offering: a "state of being conscious; awareness of one's own existence" does not satisfy, eliciting only bigger questions than it answers.

Is being conscious simply a result of electrochemical activity in the brain, or something more? Does it exist beyond the body, persisting after the body dies? And what about states of consciousness? Can one expand their consciousness and if so how? Is there a field of consciousness that we all deposit and tap into? Is consciousness the source of all creation as many scientists are now claiming? Is consciousness God? Can one achieve "god consciousness"? Is there any truth to the buzz that the global-human-sphere is currently undergoing a shift in consciousness?

To answer the last question first: Is there any truth to the buzz that the global-human-sphere is currently undergoing a shift in consciousness? The irrefutable answer is yes! Quantum physics has forever changed our understanding of reality and what it means to be a observer of that reality. It is unquestionably the single most important paradigm shift of our time and its contribution to our understanding of consciousness is incalculable, serving as a nexus between scientist and sage, east and west, material and immaterial, being and non being. 

Discovering the quantum reality of things is to know of something that in essence is beyond words, it boggles the mind all the while causing us to rethink how and what we think. Consciousness Quantum is not an offering on the hard science of quantum physics, but the topic of consciousness cannot be seriously contemplated without at least considering what quantum physics proves: that underlying all of reality is consciousness.
